Fortsetzung zu Tim Burtons Horror-Komödie von 1988, in der Michael Keaton als Lottergeist und freiberuflicher Bio-Exorzist Beetlejuice einem Geister-Ehepaar (Geena Davis und Alec Baldwin) dabei hilft, ihr ehemaliges Haus von den neuen Mietern zu befreien. Dessen Methoden sind dem Paar allerdings ein wenig zu rabiat.
